John Bayliss came to the caravan industry as a young man more than 50+ years ago and in that time he’s seen, and worked on, every make and model of caravan imaginable. Certainly, times have changed – the advances in technology and the expectation of high levels of comfort have turned the flimsy caravan of yesteryear into the ultimate home from home on wheels.
Nevertheless, the skills and standards John practised as a young man have stayed the same and as a result his reputation for quality and service, as J. Bayliss & Sons, has grown. Indeed, so recognised is the name, by many long standing and loyal customers, that it still reassuringly appears alongside Solihull Caravans in the company’s livery.

John’s sons joined him in the business and Solihull Caravans was born – A true family run business. In February 2016, after 15 years in Old Arley, Warwickshire, the company took up residence at its new premises in Solihull and a new, exciting chapter has began.
What won’t change is the company’s commitment to maintaining the standards of quality and service it is known for. Today, J. Bayliss & Sons – Solihull Caravans is a healthy, forward looking company, while employing the finest of traditional standards.
